The Weatherization Assistance Program is designed to increase energy efficiency and reduce the burden of energy costs to low-income Americans, especially households with elderly residents, people with disabilities, and families with children. Similar to LIHEAP, this funding originates from Federal Government, but is provided to the County through DCED.
