Investment Partnership (HOME) Funds |
The HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program was created in 1992 to provide funding to localities exclusively for activities which preserve and promote affordable housing. As with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, Fayette County's HOME funds originate from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), but pass through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). DCED makes State HOME funds available to County's on a competitive basis. Therefore, RACF annually prepares and submits HOME applications to DCED requesting support for the
Homeowner Rehabilitation Program and, more recently, a newly created
Homebuyer Assistance Program. |
