Provided through the U.S. Department of Agriculture - Rural Housing Service (USDA-RHS), the Housing Preservation Grant Program makes grants to non-profits and local governments to rehabilitate existing low-income households.  Similar to the HOME Program, these funds are available on a competitive basis; therefore, RACF must annually prepare an application for assistance.
