The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Rural Housing and Economic Development (RHED) Program is designed to support innovative housing and economic development activities in rural areas. In Fayette County, RACF successfully obtained RHED funds to further support the County’s Homebuyer Development Program, a cooperative effort among public, private, and non-profit organizations to develop affordable homeownership opportunities.
