Consisting of 21 acres of land located on Fan Hollow Road in North Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, the historic Springer Farm homestead was conveyed to the Redevelopment Authority by the Fayette County Commissioners in 2002. The Commissioners have charged the Redevelopment Authority with creating and implementing a strategic redevelopment plan for the property. Development of the re-use plan has involved obtaining input from various stakeholders in the community, including historic interest groups and economic development and tourism agencies.
