This project involves the construction of a Riverfront Wharf Park along the Monongahela River in the Borough of Brownsville. Coordinating funding from Rivers of Steel, DCNR, the County’s CDBG Program, and private individuals, the Authority is serving as the implementing agency for this project. Phases I and II of the Wharf were completed in 2002. With support through DCNR and Congressman Murtha (via the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development), construction on Phase III is expected to begin in 2004.
