Mattress Discounters, Aspen Dental and Rent-A-Center are among the business that are slated to set up shop at the Fayette Crossings development at the Fayette County Business Park in South Union Township.

Nonprofit group plans 23 new homes

The Redstone Township tax base is getting a shot in the arm through the construction of 23 new homes just off Stone Church Road.

Millions Going to Project

The Fayette County Redevelopment Authority recently learned it would receive $8.1 million in state grant money to assist the developer building the Wal-Mart Super Center project at the Fayette County Business Park.

Gov. Ed Rendell whirled into Fayette County Thursday to bring some "good news'' and stump for some of his economic development proposals.
