Public Improvements
Utilizing a variety of local, state, and federal funds, the Authority annually administers projects which:

  • Extend or replace waterlines
  • Improve sanitary sewer systems
  • Reconstruct roadways and improve drainage
  • Expand and enhance recreational facilities
  • Improve County public facilities and remove blighted structures

  • The Homeowner Rehabilitation Program assists homeowners through the provision of no interest rehabilitation loans.
  • Homebuyer Development Program offers down payment and closing cost assistance to potential first-time homebuyers.

Fayette County Business Park
Located on 270 acres just outside the City of Uniontown in North and South Union Townships, the Fayette County Business Park is home to a variety of professional office complexes, retail establishments, and restaurants. Approximately two-thirds of the available land has been developed, and the Redevelopment Authority is in the process of planning the development of the remaining portions of the Business Park.
