Public Improvement

Utilizing this variety of local, state, and federal funds, the the Authority annually administers projects which:

  • Extend or replace waterlines
  • Improve sanitary sewer systems
  • Reconstruct roadways and improve drainage
  • Expand and enhance recreational facilities
  • Improve County public facilities, and remove blighting structure

  • The Homeowner Rehabilitation Program assists homeowners through the provision of no interest rehabilitation loans.
  • Homebuyer Assistance Program: The Redevelopment Authority now also offers assistance to potential first-time homebuyers through the Fayette County Homeownership Program

Weatherization

The Redevelopment Authority’s Weatherization Program provides assistance to low-income households for energy efficiency improvements.
